What an amazing day!! Our driver was so knowledgeable and helpful for us understanding the history of the area. Make sure when you book this you book your cliffs tickets. I forgot and we had to go in the morning. But…we had an amazing sheep dog demonstration because of it and that was amazing!!
We had an amazing day touring from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher. Along our route we saw a multitude of castles and even stopped at a Chocolate Factory!! It was amazing. Our driver was the absolute best, most kind human! I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him and learning about the history of the area. I highly recommend using this company as they are very professional and knowledgeable.
Jarleth, our guide, was wonderful. It was like driving with an old family friend who’d been living in Western Ireland his entire life. You never quite know what you’ll get with a private tour guide and we were not disappointed. He drove us from spot to spot sharing not only historical information, but personalizing it by showing us things about his own life.
The Abbey was beautiful (albeit the midges had arrived!!). We hiked a short loop around Connemara which had extraordinary views into the valley and beyond. Lunch in Clifden was perfect and we were so hungry by then… and the we were off to Sky road which was magical.
We finished up with a stop at our last castle and on time, exhausted but having had another wonderful day seeing sights and learning all about Ireland’s incredible history.

Jarlath was a wonderful tour guide. We really enjoyed getting to know him and learning about this part of Ireland. We visited such interesting places along the way to and from the Cliffs of Moher, and the Cliffs themselves did not disappoint - stunning! We were so glad to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery along the way. Highly recommend this tour.

Great driver, countryside views with lots of explanations from the driver, Ternon. Felt like we really got a feel for the Ireland way of life and its people. Comfortable car and safe driving. Castles and pubs with Cliffs of Moher as the highlight! Burren was beautiful and walking through it was a wonderful experience. Good conversation! I recommend this tour and driver!

My sister and I booked this tour to see the Cliffs of Moher for the first time. Our guide Jarlath took us to several beautiful places along the way. The views were so beautiful, and the Cliffs of Moher even more amazing than expected. Jarlath was a great driver, engaging, and super knowledgable about the history of the area. We had a great day, took lots of photos and learned a lot in the process!

My husband and I spent the day with Jarlath visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Jarlath was communicative, friendly, witty, and excellent company; he also possessed - and shared - a deep knowledge of the area and its history. In addition to our scheduled stops for a hike at the Burren and to visit the Cliffs of Moher, he showed us innumerable Norman-era castles, Lahinch, Corcomroe Abbey, and Kilfenora Cathedral and its high crosses. We ended the day with a chocolate tasting at Hazel Mountain, which was different type of treat. Throughout, Jarlath was a safe driver and we were comfortable and happy. We would absolutely book with him on our next visit to Ireland and wholeheartedly recommend.

We had such a great experience with JD Chauffeurs. They were very flexible on what we wanted to do/see and customized the experience for the available time we had to explore. Our driver was very friendly and accommodating. Avoid going on big bus tours with large crowds. They drive you around in a 7 series BMW all day at such a great price! Dino
Jarleth drove me on my Wedding Day this past December, he was on the ball and so professional from the minute he arrived, nice and early too. We had a long-ish journey to the church from home so I was nervous about that and any issues that might arise. We travelled from Galway to Athlone and he kept the nerves at bay chatting away to myself and Dad. He was so well prepared in his beautiful car, we had a teary eyed send off from home with neighbours gathering but he had the tissues at the ready. Water and snacks for the journey. Once Dad left us, then it was the Grooms turn for a spin, Jarleth had a lovely bottle of bubbly to toast us as we headed away form the church to the venue. He was so friendly and warm and helped immensely getting me in and out of the car with the Wedding dress!
We had such a pleasant start to our Wedding day with Jarleth and would highly recommend for any special journeys you are making.
Never mind Van the Man, there is Jarlath the Man as our tour guide and driver on our tour of Conemarra and the Wild Atlantic Way. He was very personable and knowledgeable and answered all our questions on everything Irish as well as the area we were touring. Stacey, who can ask a million questions, was impressed that he coped with the onslaught!! A truly enjoyable day out, made special by the Man!

Jarlath was our driver for three days during our first trip to Ireland in June. To be honest, I do not have the words to do justice to how special our experience was. On Trip Advisor's 5-point scale, we would give it a 10.
Jarlath was so much more than a driver. His knowledge of the geography and history of Connemara were astounding, and he went far beyond any expectations that we had during our time with him. He took us to numerous beautiful "off the beaten" path sites that we never would have found on our own, much less know about. I'm still amazed that we only saw one big tour bus the entire three days, so his guidance helped us avoid any delays because of large group of tourists.
